Made a four-bar linkage & transmission through some preliminary calculations and almost no requirements. 

Used proximity sensors, photoresistors, a limit switch, and a single encoder to orient my linkage on a single plane. 

Solved a lot of problems in joint construction, controls, and programming / recalibration of sensors. 


Problem - I am too connected to my phone, I get lost in it for no reason when checking notifications that could have waited. 

Solution - Bring back the Pager... but allow it to receive filtered notifications directly from your phone through Apple's wearable API


I worked with a few awesome people in Nairobi Kenya to solve the problems around lack of sewage and sanitation in dense urban slums in cities across Sub-Saharan Africa. 

Worked to build up various prototypes and solve some problems in thermodynamics + overcoming large number of constraints.

My quest to "Democratizing Computing" in Kenya. 

I build up a 2 sided marketplace for building modular computers and worked with students on building hard modular prototypes and doing computing exploration in the Kenyan market. 

Started a company, PCs and Parts, to support all of this education and provide a marketplace to buy, sell and trade locally built PCs and computer parts.

Problem - Food is expensive...and fresh ingredients are hard to access given the nature of our food system. I have no room for a garden



Solution - Hydroponic Garden.



The entire premise behind this project revolved around Haptic shared control with level 3 autonomous driving.


In layman's terms, how do we get the brain of the self-driving car to communicate with the brain of the person driving so that they can share the control of the car - work together.

I have an incredibly old car from the 70s that I have been exploring to see what I can fix/rebuild. 

Thus far, I have learned everything there is to know about the engine - repaired a couple of small issues and tinkered a lot with the compression in my cylinders. 

This project will forever be something that I am choosing to just learn from, never something with concrete final deliverables. 


School Robot Design

Built and coded an autonomous robot for one of my higher-level mechanical engineering classes. 


It picked up blocks, moved around large masses and knocked down targets. The yoke in the middle is for pressing precision buttons on the ground.
